The Visioneers is a nonprofit organization that guides students to think outside the box to solve today's problems, using design thinking and collaborative teamwork.
Imagine a THINK TANK like The Brookings Institute, but for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
We are looking for the next Madame Curie, the next Elon Musk, the next Steve Jobs.
WHAT IS DESIGN THINKING?
Involving five phases - Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test - it is most useful to tackle problems that are ill-defined or unknown.
Design thinking is a non-linear, iterative process that teams use to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions to prototype and test.
